Sounds Making Tea
My journey in SoundArt began in 2007, while I was a student at The University of Toronto and Sheridan College. I was intrigued by sounds that are difficult to hear. The idea of "smallness" and "miniatures" evolved. I set up recording equipment in my kitchen at home. I systematically recorded all the sounds I made while making tea. I created several pieces in this series to visually document the sounds I was hearing.
Sounds Making Tea was part of the 2007 Graduation Exhibition at University of Toronto & Sheridan College. This work was exhibited at the Blackwood Gallery in Mississauga, Ontario.
